A letter to Mr. President
Dear
President Rodrigo Roa Duterte,
First
of all, I would like to congratulate you for being elected as the president of
the Philippines. Giving your time for the Philippines is such a blessing for
us. And we thank you for that. You’re a blessing given to us by God. I salute
you for being brave. Not only the courage you’ve shown, but you also showed how
well you were doing. I know that there are many people that don’t like you. But
instead of being affected on what they’ve said, you are still serving our
country. Despite of the many negative comments to you, still you continue your
service. I know that whatever happens, you will still fight for our country
Philippines.
I
know and I hope that you’re promises will be transform into actions to help the
poor Filipinos. The Filipinos wanted a change. The Filipino people are tired of hearing the promises that are being forgotten. As always say, actions are better than
words. They said that previous presidents have improved the Philippines, but it
was not felt by many people. Their tables were still lack the proper food
for their nourishment. Many people are still facing this kind of problem. The foods are not enough. And many
parents can’t send their children to school because they are lack of
financial capacity.
Mr.
President our country is facing so many problems. However, we hope that you'll remain in faith, always believe in God. Thank you Mr. President and may our Lord God give you a long life with good health and peace of mind despite all the
problems you are facing as the leader of this country.
Yours Truly,
Jessa MaeRegua
