Independence day, a memorable day

           June 12, 2019, one of the most significant date in the Philippine’s history. This is a holiday celebrating the anniversary of a country’s independence from another country that ruled us in the past. We annually   celebrate this in June 12.

           Through celebrating this important day, we are appreciating thesacrifices of our heroes just for our freedom. They sacrificed their own life, just for our freedom. They fought for our freedom. They fought for our country.  We must appreciate their sacrifices.

         The flag of the Philippines is not merely a cloth; it symbolizes our freedom. This flag witnessed the sacrifices of our heroes. Now a day, many people do not respect it anymore. We must respect our flag, because respecting our flag is a way of respecting our country.

It’s time to give importance to our country because many lives are sacrificed for this freedom. I am proud that I am a Filipino.  I know that even if we are different, even if we have different opinions. I know that no matter what happens, we will be united to fight for our country.
