Nutrition month is
celebrated every month of July. Every year, there are different activities that
all students can participate. These activities are used to advocate a healthy
life style.
Now a day, many of the Filipino children are lack of
nutrition. Because they don’t eat the proper food they need. I think poverty is
the cause of this problem. Some families are lack of financial capacity to buy
the proper food their children needed. But I think there is a cheaper way to
prevent this problem. We must plant different kind of vegetables in our yard so
that every family have the proper food that they need. Vegetables are good in
our body. They provide different vitamins as well as minerals. In this way we
can be healthier and we will have the energy to do our daily work especially us
students.
But malnutrition is not only the problem in our country.
Most of the Filipino children are also obese. Because they eat too much. But
eating too much is not bad we just need to balance the food we take and the
exercises we do. When you’re an obese you must exercise to burn the calories in
your body. Also to prevent diseases like
diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.
We must always remember that health is wealth. Our health
depends on our behavior and activities we do every day.
