We all know that science is important in our life, because it has helped form the world that we live today.
In this year's Science month celebration, with the theme: “Science for the People: Enabling Technologies for Sustainable Development.” The Science and Yes-O club of the ISNHS, prepared many activities where the students can join not only for fun but also to advocate to their fellow students to save mother Earth.
One of the highlights of this celebration is the Ginoo at Binibining Kalikasan, where these candidates promotes to their fellow students proper waste management and proper waste disposal And also they can express their feelings, thoughts or suggestions for the betterment of our environment.
There is also a trashion show .where the students can promote recycling because the costume of the participants will be out of recyclable and indigenous materials.
I hope that this science month celebration will encourage the students to practice the proper waste management and proper waste disposal. So what are we waiting for? Even though we're just a student we can make a simple move to save our mother Earth. Now I challenge everyone of you to make a move by simply putting your trash in the proper place. Make a move before it's too late.
