Salute to all of our real-life heroes

When I was a child, I thought heroes are just seen in movies and tv shows. But as I grow older, I gradually came to understand that there are real-life heroes. From the year 2020 until now, we are experiencing a pandemic called COVID-19. At first, we are all terrified because this virus is really deadly. But because of these heroes, we are surviving this problem. Protecting us from the virus even if they're sacrificing their own health and safety.  These heroes are our front liners during this pandemic.

Health Workers, policemen, firefighters, volunteers, and also those who are non-medical front-liners like traffic aids, janitors, bank employees, grocery employees, and delivery crew, face danger every day for our safety. Leaving their family at home, they are willing to take risk of getting the disease just to offer services to us.  This is not an easy job but they are doing it for all of us. 

As a part of Filipino youth, I am so proud of all of the front-liners that are risking their lives just to end this virus. We are so grateful to have heroes like you. Salute to all of you ma'ams and sirs!
