National Resiliency Month: Kahandaan sa Sakuna’t Peligro Para sa tunay na pagbabago

National Resiliency Month: Kahandaan sa Sakuna’t Peligro Para sa tunay na pagbabago             We all know that Philippines is located in the Pacific Ring of Fire. This is the reason why we are experiencing many disasters in our country. The question is, are we ready for these disasters?             For me, we need to be prepared for any disaster. Because preparation is the first thing we should do. Sometimes, we just ignore the calamities that are coming. Instead of getting ready, others have time to play or doing anything that are not related in preparing for these disasters and others do not seem to care. Others are getting ready when it’s too late. But they don’t know that it is more dangerous.             We must be ready for these disasters. For us students, we can do simple things that can help our famil...

Kumain ng wasto at maging aktibo. Push natin to!

Kumain ng wasto at maging aktibo.   Push natin to!             Nutrition month is celebrated every month of July. Every year, there are different activities that all students can participate. These activities are used to advocate a healthy life style.             Now a day, many of the Filipino children are lack of nutrition. Because they don’t eat the proper food they need. I think poverty is the cause of this problem. Some families are lack of financial capacity to buy the proper food their children needed. But I think there is a cheaper way to prevent this problem. We must plant different kind of vegetables in our yard so that every family have the proper food that they need. Vegetables are good in our body. They provide different vitamins as well as minerals. In this way we can be healthier and we will have the energy to do our daily work especially us stud...
Earthquake Preparedness Earthquake are one of the most devastating disaster that might happen anytime. Earthquake is caused by the passage of seismic waves through earth’s rocks. It occurs most often along geologic faults, narrow zone where rock masses move in relation to one another. PHIVOLCS said that big one could happen anytime. The magnitude of this earthquake is estimated at 7.2 based on PHIVOLCS. So we must prepare for the big one. National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill is a good idea for use to make. Proper execution of school drills helps us to prevent panic, which might lead to accidents when everyone is overwhelmed with fear during a strong earthquake. The purpose of this drill is to train students and teachers and to test the various elements of our response plan in order to evaluate and revise it.             During a damaging earthquake, life protecting actions must be taken immediately. There will not be ...

A simple girl who hides a thousand feelings behind the happiest smile Behind the smiles on my face, is a thousand of sadness I feel. Even though you see me smiling everyday, you don't know the problems that I have. I am a girl who is facing so many problems. But if I show this sadness and pains that I feel to others, they get upset or worried about me. so sometimes I just want to keep it within my self. I don't want them to see me sad especially my parents. Sometimes I just want to be alone. I can't express my feelings. " Sometimes, a girl with a happiest smile does not mean she is happy. Maybe, she just want to hide the pains that she feels." source: https://steemit.com/poem/@sam99/i-m-a-simple-person-who-hides-a-thousands-feelings-behind-the-happiest-smile
